A tree cut down and wounded,
Silently wriggled in pain;
It was slain.
Its beauty tarnished, its feable state
was severe, so God couldn't tolerate
He sent bright sunshine to give it glory
And on it came up a whole new story
One morning four leaves were seen,
seen with a smile
The HOPE in trying to save it,
did not go futile.
For the gardner who saved it,
there aren't words of gratitude
being nurtured, it now gives shade,
to all the multitude. |

The stump of the tree was the CNI Synodical Board of Health Services initially. It was then nurtured and taken care of pouring out Vision, Love, Care, Support, Concern and Compassion towards the Healing Ministry. It is now healed and the four leaves that have sprouted are the four programmes (HIV/AIDS, Community Health, Nursing and Sponsorship, Scholarship and Nurturing Programme) functional under it. |
