'Pukaar - Hamaari Aawaaz' Road Show was organised on December 1, 2005 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The HIV/AIDS Programme of The Synodical Board of Health Services, The Church of North India presented an educational and awareness programme on HIV/AIDS named -  
PUKAAR -Hamaari Aawaaz : HIV/AIDS awareness through performing arts at New Delhi
Mrs. Karuna Roy, Co-ordinator, HIV and AIDS Programme, CNI SBHS received the E. H. Johnson Memorial Fund Award for being on the “Cutting Edge of Mission”, during the 132nd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada on June 6, 2006 at Book University, Canada. The Committee has recognized Mrs. Karuna Roy for her Christian Leadership in HIV and AIDS Education and Prevention.

Mrs. Karuna Roy, Coordinator, HIV and AIDS Programme, The SBHS-CNI  was felicitated on 29th September 2006 by Ms. Wilma Welsh, Moderator, Presbyterian Church in Canada recognizing her Christian Leadership in HIV and AIDS Education and Prevention. The E. H. Johnson Trust Award Medallion Ceremony was organised at the Chapel of CNI Bhawan where Dr. Samuel Kishan, The Chief Functionary and Secretary, The SBHS-CNI, CNI Synod officials and staff members participated at this gracious occasion.

Mr. Ron Wallace, Associate Secretary, International Ministries of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, Rev. Sarah Kim, Executive Director, Women’s Missionary Society and Mrs. Amy Mac Lachlan, Journalist, Presbyterian Church in Canada accompanied Ms. Wilma Welsh in the Medallion Ceremony at CNI Bhawan, New Delhi.
 
MRS. KARUNA ROY - MEDALLION CEREMONY
PUKKAR (Pass on Useful Knowledge About AIDS Removal) Hamaari Aawaaz (our voice), a programme on HIV and AIDS Awareness was held at FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi on Monday, the 27th of November, 2006. Students from 4 reputed schools of Delhi participated in this programme. The Chief Guest for the programme was Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal, a renomned TV Actor and Special Guests were Mr. Anuuj Saawhney, a renowned Film Actor and Ms. Sangeeta Ghosh, a renowned TV Actor. The programme was a grand success.

250 School students from various schools of New Delhi: K.R. Mangalam World School, Queen Mary's School, Ryan International and St. Crispon'sSchool performed during PUKAAR-Hamari Awaaz at FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi on November 27, 2006.

The two-day Ecumenical Pre-Conference was held in Toronto, Canada on August 10 and 11 2006. More than 500 people from more than 35 countries participated in this conference.

AIDS Peer Educator's Training Programme was successfully conducted at the Heinz Auditorium, YMCA, Jaisingh Road, New Delhi on October 10, 2007 by the students of Queen Mary’s School, Delhi under the guidance of Ms. Karuna Roy, Coordinator, The SBHS-CNI. The students who conducted the programme this year were trained on HIV and AIDS as AIDS Peer Educators in 2006. This was a peer to peer (student to student) interactive programme in which 200 students from 8 different schools of Delhi participated. Since 1997, the AIDS Peer Educator's Training Programme is a successful ongoing programme of The Synodical Board of Health Services, Church of North India, New Delhi.
